On August 8, 2023, more than 30 chairpersons of agricultural machinery and farming cooperatives from Wenshang County, Jining, Shandong Province, paid another visit to Dangkang Agricultural Equipment. The group leaders unanimously remarked that, upon arriving at Dangkang, they felt a sense of stability and warmth—almost like being home. This marked their fourth return to the company in recent years.

The chairpersons visited the cutting workshop, the welding workshop, and the assembly workshop. In the prototype area, long-time users shared their firsthand experiences, guiding new users on how to operate each product and highlighting important precautions.
The chairpersons focused on the integrated drive harrow–strip‑seeder, and were particularly struck by last winter’s widespread frost damage to winter wheat, which resulted from cold weather and limited rainfall. After preparing the field with a conventional rotary tiller and then sowing with a compact seeder, similar problems emerged not only in Shandong but also in Hebei, Henan, Anhui, Shanxi, and other regions. By contrast, farmers who followed up sowing with a single pass of compaction or used the drive harrow–strip‑seeder reported virtually no frost damage, leaving a very strong impression.
Long-time users report that after using the combined drive harrow–strip‑seeder, the soil is compacted and leveled smoothly. Not only does this ensure consistent seeding depth, but the double compaction also greatly enhances moisture retention, drought resistance, and frost protection, virtually eliminating seedling mortality. Yield gains are striking—under normal conditions, each mu can see an additional 100 to 200 jin of wheat. Moreover, with the soil tightly compacted, seed germination rates exceed 95%, virtually eliminating the problem of seeds failing to emerge. As a result, employing the drive harrow–strip‑seeder saves at least 5 to 10 jin of wheat seed per mu.

The chairpersons also gained an in-depth understanding of the Dangkang air‑suction no‑till precision seeder and the air‑blow precision seeder, with many expressing their intention to switch to these models next year.
At the conclusion of the tour, Chairman Zhao Peisheng said with a smile to General Manager Zeng Xiangan, who had accompanied them: “Mr. Zeng, here we’ve seen exactly what we wanted to see and learned precisely what we set out to learn. And as for lunch—rest assured, it won’t be on your dime.” His remark drew hearty laughter from the other chairmen.
